Pool toads and Black Witches. Longnose Snakes and Beaded Lizards.

Funky little tortricid	Unidentified Pryalid	Brown-Shaded Gray Moth, Iridopsis defectaria. (Geometridae) Beautiful!	Spea multiplicata, Mexican Spadefoot in the pool.
Trademark multiplicata spades.	"It was horrible. These black beetles kept crawling all over me. I tried to eat one but it was nasty and I spit out...."	Spea, poolside.	Toad trap!
Lizards are trapped too.	Aspidoscelis costata barrancorum	The shaman is taking out a 7-10 split for the spare....	CJ with a bit of ornamentation for his cafe' con leche.

Ollotis marmorea, the Marbled Toad of which we saw hundreds....	Ollotis marmorea	Yow! The infamous Mexican Black Witch (Ascalapha odorata). Awesome.

			and now for something completely different....
Compulsory picture of bird on cactus. I had no choice in the matter.	Later, that same evening....I saw this Pachymedusa dacnicolor walking (not hopping, mind you, for they prefer the amble to the leap) across a dirt road as we cruised. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip for me!	DOR Coluber flagellum piceus.
