Herpetofauna - One Life's List Florida
Cricket Frog Okefenokee Swamp, Ware Co., Georgia. April 21, 2003 |

There's not much difference
between this little frog and the Southern Cricket Frog (gryllus gryllus) -
this one has two dark stripes on the rear of the thigh, as opposed to the
Southern Cricket's one stripe. One simply has to catch one to see the
difference - not hard on a wet road on a rainy night.
Further documented in my Frogwalkin' journal entry. |
