This snake turned up under a railroad tie along some tracks we were working, far from any water we could see.  An upset moccasin that would not hold still or move into a defensive coil, making photography a difficult proposition.  The tie next to this snake's hiding place turned up a large and opaque Eastern Diamondback - bonus!
