Acris gryllus dorsalis
Okefenokee Swamp, Georgia There's not much difference between this little frog and the Southern Cricket Frog (gryllus gryllus) - this one has two dark stripes on the rear of the thigh, as opposed to the Southern Cricket's one stripe. One simply has to catch one to see the difference - not hard on a wet road on a rainy night. Further documented in my Frogwalkin' herp journal entry.
