Even a blind pig finds an acorn once in a while.  I was sure I saw a skinny serpent crossing on the margin of the road, and hung a fast U-turn back.  Sure enough, this Desert Glossy had reached the edge, and was a few seconds away from vanishing into the desert.  A good spot, if I say so myself.
