Herpetofauna: One Life's List

I was pleased that my first wild Iguana was where it should be, in a tree overhanging the Amazon River.  Finding one in a locale where they have been introduced (such as Florida) would not have been quite the same exciting experience.  One of our guides spotted the giant lizard, and we pulled the boat in to shore to get a better look at the beast.  The dorsal crest was just amazing!
