Anolis sagrei
Orlando, Florida I added this species while staying with some friends in Orlando. I never saw any Green Anoles, but the Browns were everywhere in their yard and inside their 'Florida House', which is a large screened-in enclosure. It is said that Brown Anoles are supplanting the familiar green Carolina Anole, and some folks claim that they don't see the little green lizards any more. Other people contend that there are still plenty of Carolina Anoles around, they've just been pushed into the higher parts of bushes and trees, and onto the roofs of houses, out of the sight of most folks.
