I had a devil of a time getting close enough to one of these Whiptails for a picture.  They were quite common, but very wary, and it was difficult getting closer than a few feet.  In the end I contented myself with watching them on their endless Bug Patrol, swinging their heads from side to side in short, jerky movements as they moved forward.
